WHO IS THOMAS?

Thomas Padraic O’Flannigan (he/him/his) is a director, choreographer, and producer from Laramie, WY.

He currently resides in New York City.

He is a proud son, brother, and uncle and surrounds himself with his family and friends. At a young age, Thomas got involved with The Trinity Irish Dance Company and spent over a decade Irish Dancing with them. He is a two-time runner-up at the North American Oireachtas National Championships.

His passion for dance continued growing as he got older and eventually entered the world of theatre.

Thomas specializes in directing and choreographing new works and musical theatre.

Peter and The Starcatcher (Long Lake Camp For The Arts), The Nerd (Long Lake Camp For The Arts), Tammy: A Coming of Age Story About A Girl Who is Part T-Rex (Long Lake Camp For The Arts), Shakespeare in Hollywood (Long Lake Camp For The Arts), Boom (Make/Shift Theatre Company), Indecent (Artists Repertory Theatre/Profile Theatre), ‘Night Mother (Cooper Theatrics), and Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom (Cooper Theatrics).

Thomas is a Portland State University alum. He also received a certificate in Advanced Directing from The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center.

Thomas has worked with companies such as: Artists Repertory Theatre, Profile Theatre, The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, Make/Shift Theatre Company, Portland Center Stage, and Long Lake Camp For The Arts.

Thomas has had the privilege to work with and be mentored by Josh Hecht, Forrest McClendon, Adin Walker, Shakina Wayfack, Patrese McClain, Rachel Jett, Madeline Sayet, Karin Magaldi, Jessica Wallenfels, and Warren Scott Friedman.
